Getting started

RyftTales is a Hytale network — one server address, four realms behind it. This page covers the parts that are the same no matter which realm you end up playing.

Installing and connecting

You need the official Hytale launcher, signed in with your account. RyftTales tracks the current release, so there is no modpack to install and nothing else to download before you connect.

Open the in-game server list, choose Add Server, and paste in play.ryfttales.com. That single address covers every realm — you do not add a separate entry per realm.

Picking a realm

After you connect you land in the hub. Each realm has its own rift there; step through the one that matches what you want to play:

• Survival MMO — a persistent world, land claims, and world bosses.
• SkyBlock — start on one island and build an economy from nothing.
• Star Wars — factions, crewed ships, and contested territory.
• Pokémon — catching, training, and a battle ladder. Opening soon.

You can switch realms whenever you like from the hub. Progress in each realm is tracked separately, so playing SkyBlock does not touch your Survival character or the other way around.

If something goes wrong

Most connection issues come down to the launcher being on an older release — update it and try again. For anything else, the #support channel on Discord is the fastest way to reach staff.
