Rules and conduct
What is and isn't allowed across every RyftTales realm.
Applies to every realm.
These rules apply network-wide — in every realm, in the hub, and on Discord. Individual realms may add rules specific to how they play (a Survival land claim dispute is not the same shape as a Star Wars faction war), but nothing below is optional.
The short version
- No cheating: no hacked clients, no exploiting bugs for advantage, no duplicating items.
- No griefing outside a realm’s own PvP or claim rules.
- No harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse — in chat, in builds, or in usernames and skins.
- No real-money trading for in-game currency, items, or accounts outside the official store.
- Staff decisions on rule enforcement are final; if you disagree, raise it through a ticket, not by arguing in public chat.
Reporting something
If you see a rule broken, use /report <player> <reason> in-game, or open a
ticket in the #support channel on Discord. Include a screenshot or a
coordinate if you have one — it makes the difference between a five-minute
investigation and a two-day one.
Enforcement
First offenses for most rules get a warning. Cheating, exploiting, and real-money trading skip straight to a ban, because by the time it’s reported the damage is usually already done. Bans can be appealed through a Discord ticket; staff review every appeal, they just don’t promise a particular outcome.
